The World Eaters (originally called the Hounds of War) were the XII Space Marine Legion created by the Emperor for his Great Crusade. Their Primarch is Angron, the Red Angel, currently a Daemon Prince of Khorne. The Legion joined Horus during the Horus Heresy and devoted itself to the worship of Khorne. It currently resides, divided into numerous warbands, within the Eye of Terror.
